Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (93) - TSUEN FU HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1800Meters
KING OPIE shifted in at the start and bumped STAR PERFORMANCE which then got its head on the side, shifted in and inconvenienced TIANCHI MONSTER.
Passing the 600 Metres, ENRICHMENT was awkwardly placed inside the heels of HARMONY VICTORY.
After the 600 Metres, HARMONY VICTORY was momentarily awkwardly placed outside CLASSIC BEAUTY which was taken out by DOCTOR GEOFF.
Rounding the Home Turn, DOCTOR GEOFF got its head on the side and lay in and passing the 400 Metres was awkwardly placed near the heels of KING OPIE.
Approaching the 100 Metres, TIANCHI MONSTER was awkwardly placed outside STAR PERFORMANCE.
Passing the winning post, STAR PERFORMANCE was crowded for room outside SAVVY SIX (M L Yeung) which got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly.
Then after the winning post, STAR PERFORMANCE was checked away from the heels of SAVVY SIX.
M L Yeung was advised that whilst the worst of the interference was clearly after the winning post and whilst the Stewards accepted that SAVVY SIX had shifted out abruptly close to the finishing line, nonetheless he was reprimanded and told to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground irrespective of it being prior to or passing the winning post.
A veterinary inspection of HARMONY VICTORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of KING OPIE immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, KING OPIE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
HARMONY VICTORY, SAVVY SIX and TIANCHI MONSTER were sent for sampling.

Savvy Six kept on gamely for the win despite shifting out badly close to home after hitting the front 150m out following a rail run behind midfield for a first Hong Kong win. Tianchi Monster closed nicely to snatch second from Star Performance after a patient ride third from the rear in the race but has run well in defeat both times this term . Star Performance stayed on well after tracking a good pace in the box-seat despite a rise in trip. He's run well in both starts this term and should be able to get away with a race shortly. Right Choice ran on steadily from midfield to add some value to the Quartet. It wasn't a bad run with a step up to the 1,800m. Harmony Victory ran on without menacing after being forced widest out at the head of the straight travelling one from the back. Enrichment made some ground from the rear of the field. Mission Tycoon gave way 200m out after taking over from long-time leader Helene Leadingstar at the 350m.
