Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (56) - TAI SHUE WAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
RACING LUCK shifted out at the start and bumped LUCKY TIME.
WIN WIN began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped SUMSTREETSUMWHERE.
WIN WIN was then buffeted between SUMSTREETSUMWHERE and HO HO FEEL which shifted out.
This resulted in HO HO FEEL, WIN WIN and SUMSTREETSUMWHERE all becoming unbalanced.
After this, HO HO FEEL and WIN WIN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Also from the outside barrier, PRETTY BAUHINIA was steadied in the early stages and near the 1200 Metres was left racing wide and without cover.
At the entrance to the Straight, HEAVENLY THOUGHT became unbalanced when bumped by CLEMENT LEGEND (G van Niekerk) which shifted out from behind LAST KINGDOM to improve.
G van Niekerk was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he does not place undue pressure on other runners when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
In the early part of the Straight, XIANG BAI QI got its head on the side and lay in.
Over the concluding stages, LUCKY TIME raced tight inside LAST KINGDOM and consequently was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
A veterinary inspection of WIN WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
LAST KINGDOM, CLEMENT LEGEND and JENERATOR were sent for sampling.

Clement Legend drew clear after hitting the front near the 100m following a handy run on the fence. Jenerator finished well after taking the more scenic route home following a one-off run outside the eventual winner. He's a winner waiting to happen. Heavenly Thought was just denied second following a box-seat run. It was his best effort from 13 starts after arriving off a lofty mark of 88. Xiang Bai Qi was just beaten a stride for a placing despite having to weave about for a run in the drive travelling midfield after getting caught deep early on from a tricky gate. Racing Luck closed well from behind midfield to finish in the mix. He's honest as the day is long but the big weight has anchored him in recent outings. Last Kingdom was gone 100m out after travelling too keenly in front carrying more weight following a last-start win. He'll need more education on how to switch off. Win Win ran on without menacing after settling one from the back from a wide gate.
