Racing Incident Report
Race One: (29) - HWAMEI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Meters
BULLISH GLORY bounded in the air as the start was effected and lost ground.
When riding his mount along in the early stages, J Moreira, the rider of GORGEOUS AGAIN, momentarily lost the use of his right stirrup iron shortly after the start.
When being steadied after the 1700 Metres, FULL OF CHANCES commenced to travel keenly and proved difficult to settle.
Then after being crossed by FAMILY LEADER passing the 1400 Metres, FULL OF CHANCES continued to travel keenly and was steadied away from the heels of that horse.
Approaching the 600 Metres, BULLISH GLORY raced tight outside KING'S MAN as that horse commenced to improve to the outside of GORGEOUS AGAIN.
H W Lai, the rider of AMAZING AGILITY, was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse out of contention.
A veterinary inspection of BULLISH GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CROWN AVENUE and FAMILY LEADER were sent for sampling.

Favourite Crown Avenue started to edge away 50m out following a tooth-and-nail battle with long-time leader Family Leader from the 400m after rolling forward to sit second at the 1,280m. He had shown versatility to place on both surfaces in his past four starts and has the tools to win another in the grade. Family Leader would not go down without a fight after leading from a wide gate. It was a solid effort and he's usually more effective at the Valley. Gorgeous Again stayed on a distant third following a one-out, one-back run. He didn't beat much. King's Man just out-bid Cheerful Star to finish a non-threatening fourth after a one-off run in midfield. He needed the run and prefers the dirt nowadays. Cheerful Star made some ground without menacing from near last. He needs to show much more despite a huge fall in the ratings. Full Of Chances faded after pressing the early pace. Wait for him to get into Class Five.
