Recap by phillip woo
Raging favourite Aethero led and won geared down with tonnes in hand a long way out to remain unbeaten in two starts. He clearly has a very bright future. Farhh Above came on nicely travelling second from the rear after a slow start to snatch second from Judy's Star on the wire. It was an eye-catching debut and he looks a nice type going forward. Judy's Star was nailed late for second after moving into the Quinella spot 250m out following a midfield run. He's run well in both starts and will be winning races with more education and experience. Shadow Breaker stayed on a distant fourth from beyond midfield. He's still a work in progress. Sparkling Night ran on without ever looking a threat from near the back. Like the latter, he'll require more time. Newcomer U W Brother faded following a box-seat run. Only thing positive to take from this run is he does possess some natural speed.
