Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (645) - CAFETERIA HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1650Meters
KING GENKI was withdrawn on 7.5.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore).
Before being allowed to race again, KING GENKI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
PEOPLE'S KNIGHT shifted out at the start and bumped PARTY TOGETHER.
PACKING WARRIOR began only fairly.
After the 1100 Metres, PARTY TOGETHER commenced to travel keenly.
Approaching the 400 Metres, TURIN REDSTAR raced tight outside PEOPLE'S KNIGHT as that horse improved into tight running between TURIN REDSTAR and RAGING BLITZKRIEG.
Throughout the race, ROYAL PERFORMER travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of GOOD OMEN and STIMULATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GLORIOUS ARTIST and RAGING BLITZKRIEG were sent for sampling.

Post-time elect Glorious Artist eased out for a clear run entering the straight following a one-out, one-back run and won going away just inside the last 100m. The win was overdue after threatening on both surfaces in his past eight starts. Early favourite Raging Blitzkrieg found one too good after turning two lengths on top after a fast start. He's as honest as the day is long. People's Knight kept on well without menacing to placing following a box-seat run. He had all favours but is always a chance on this surface. Turin Redstar faded inside the last 150m after sitting second in the run. He might be on his mark now following a last-start win over the Valley 1,650m. Royal Performer stayed on okay after a deep run without cover worse than midfield. It wasn't a bad effort in this grade for the first time and a faster strip would suit him better. Good Omen found nothing following a midfield run on the fence. He didn't fire in his first start on this surface.
