Recap by phillip woo

Early favourite Star Luck kept up a strong gallop after shaking off Lunar Zephyr in a battle up front to open his win account at his second start on this surface. Old-timer Grand Harbour stayed on nicely after slotting one off in midfield to grab second 100m out. He's always capable of a big run over this surface and trip. Ever Strong stayed on well travelling underneath Grand Harbour to overhaul Sky Treasure for third. He continues to race well this term over this course and distance. Sky Treasure grudgingly gave way following a one-out, one-back run. It was a respectable effort following a last-start win on the turf. Plunged to jump favourite Nice Kick finished nicely three from the right travelling near the back following a trouble start. It was another costly run but he would be a horse of interest in Class Five. Gracious Ryder stayed on without menacing settling worse than midfield. He doesn't have much upside off his current mark.
