Favourite Everyone's Joy closed off steadily following a handy run on the fence to wear down Bingo inside the last 100m for a debut win. It wasn't a strong race on paper but he's clearly open to further improvemen. Bingo grudgingly gave way after being hustled out deep from a wide gate to eventually lead approaching the 800m. He's on his mark but was competitively weighted under a 10-pound claimer. Wonderful Journey stayed on well near the inside following a midfield run. He can find his mark in this grade. Moneymore came on well worse than midfield and one off the fence to add value to finish a nonthreatening fourth. He's not genuine. Backed late Hasta Luego gradually faded after jumping alertly to eventually hold a spot tracking the leader. It was a better effort with a step up in distance after an even debut run over the straight 1,000m. Dionysus Collin was getting going late from near the back. He's still a work in progress.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (540) - CASTLE PEAK BAY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

ROYAL MOJITO was withdrawn on 30.3.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left hind).

Before being allowed to race again, ROYAL MOJITO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

DIONYSUS COLLIN began only fairly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of TRIUMPHANT LORD.

WINWIN THIRTYTHREE (H N Wong) was badly crowded for room shortly after the start between MONEYMORE and NEW DYNAMIC which got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider.

After the race, H N Wong reported that after being crowded for room, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE would not stretch out despite being ridden along for a considerable distance.

Passing the 100 Metres, HASTA LUEGO momentarily raced in restricted room between EVERYONE'S JOY and BINGO which shifted out marginally.

A veterinary inspection of REGENCY DARLING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
