Recap by phillip woo
Citron Spirit finished strongly after straightening last and widest out to get up 100m out for another win this campaign. He's in the form of his life and was threatening to score in his past three starts. Victory Boys closed nicely when a gap finally opened up between runners approaching the 200m to get up from near last to fill the Quinella spot. He's as honest as the day is long. Insayshable just got up for third after saving ground worse than midfield on the fence. It was another genuine effort but he's likely on or near his mark. Super Chic came up one-paced over the last 100m after making his move one from the outside entering the straight following a midfield run. Like the latter, he might have limited upside off his current mark. Firming favourite Turin Redstar came up flat following a prominent run on the fence. He didn't get the trip. Circuit Glory was only plodding over the final 150m after dictating the run.
