Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (501) - BMW CENTENARY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
VOYAGE STAR shifted out at the start and bumped SMART ROCKET.
From wide barriers, TOUCH OF LUCK and SAM'S LOVE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 900 Metres, DESTIN was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching and passing the 100 Metres, SIMPLE ELEGANT was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SMART ROCKET which shifted in under pressure.
Near the 75 Metres, VIVA COUNCIL raced tight inside SIMPLE ELEGANT.
After the race, it was noted that VOYAGE STAR was making an abnormal respiratory noise when coming off the track.
An endoscopic examination of VOYAGE STAR did not reveal any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of TOUCH OF LUCK and CARE FREE PRINCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CRAIG'S STAR and CHAIRMAN LO were sent for sampling.

Craig's Star easily got up 100m out after a lovely run fore of midfield one off the fence followings second in two of three other starts. He should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Drifting favourite Chairman Lo came on nicely to grab second 20m out after a more patient approach travelling fifth from the back on this occasion. Well-backed Smart Rocket stayed on well travelling one off worse than midfield to just get third. He's turned the corner for the better following a successful dip into Class Five. Voyage Star wouldn't go down without a fight after leading from a wide gate. Curling Luxury stuck on reasonably well following a box-seat run and he might be one to keep safe. Simple Elegant made headway from midfield to just miss a pay day. It was an improved run following a gear change. Plunged late, Sam's Love ran on late without menacing from the rear of the field. He got too far back from a wide gate.
