Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (474) - GLOUCESTER HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
As the start was effected, CHEERFUL BOY, which was fractious in the barriers, reared and landed awkwardly, resulting in the horse losing a considerable amount of ground.
Before being allowed to race again, CHEERFUL BOY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
TOP LAURELS was crowded for room on jumping between AMAZING which shifted in and THUNDER STOMP which stumbled at the start and shifted out.
SARRI shifted in abruptly at the start and hampered FLYING QUEST.
From the outside barriers, AMAZING and IMPERIAL GALLANTRY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After initially being ridden along, RACING LUCK was steadied and shifted across behind runners shortly after the start to obtain cover.
Passing the 1600 Metres, HAR HAR HEART and SARRI bumped.
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, RIGHT HONOURABLE was awkwardly placed outside SARRI when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse.
Making the turn near the 550 Metres, TOP LAURELS lay in towards the heels of SUMSTREETSUMWHERE.
Close to the finishing line, TOP LAURELS was awkwardly placed behind SARRI and consequently was not ridden out over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection of TOP LAURELS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
A veterinary inspection of RACING LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUMSTREETSUMWHERE and HAR HAR HEART were sent for sampling.

Backed late Sumstreetsumwhere kept up a strong galloper after hitting the front 200m out following box-seat run to ring up a first win at his 13th start. Favourite Har Har Heart just got up late for second travelling three back on the fence. He's a winner waiting to happen with seconds in four straight runs now. Thunder Stomp lost a Quinella spot late after getting a very easy time in front with the claim well utilised. He's well rated but was given every chance. Sarri stuck on well following a prominent run to add value to the Quartet in a vastly-improved second-up effort. He's heading in the right direction. Right Honourable ran on late without menacing from behind midfield. Off his current mark, the dirt might be a better play. The circumstances of the race went against Ho Ho Feel but was running on late without menacing from near the back. Racing Luck settled last in a paceless race. You can put a pen through this run.
