Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (316) - NGA TSIN WAI HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
FAMOUS WARRIOR was slow to begin.
RIGHT HONOURABLE stumbled at the start.
MONGOLIAN LEGEND and CHUNG WAH SPIRIT bumped at the start.
CHUNG WAH SPIRIT was then steadied to obtain a position with cover.
From wide barriers, IMPERIAL CONCORDE and SMART BOY were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
TOP LAURELS and CHUNG WAH SPIRIT were both held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 400 Metres, MONGOLIAN LEGEND was bumped by NUCLEAR POWER which shifted out.
Passing the 100 Metres, TOP LAURELS was struck over the nose by the whip of M L Yeung (MONGOLIAN LEGEND).
For the majority of the race, ELECTRIC LIGHTNING travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
A veterinary inspection of TANG FLEMING and ELECTRIC LIGHTNING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, both horses were unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
TOP LAURELS, MONGOLIAN LEGEND and RIGHT HONOURABLE were sent for sampling.

Mongolian Legend ran on steadily following a patient ride fourth from the rear to wear down Right Honourable in the shadows of the post for a first win at his ninth outing. He appreciated a switch to the dirt. Right Honourable did little wrong but get the win after hitting the front 100m out following a deep run with cover in midfield. He has been racing well on both surfaces this term. Famous Warrior just failed to get up after being ridden along early on to hold a position handy on the fence in a pleasing first run on the surface. He's not genuine. Top Laurels just failed to get up for a placing travelling effectively oneout, one-back. The Valley turf seems to suit him better. Chung Wah Spirit stayed on all right after switching out of a jam 250m out following a rail run behind midfield. He doesn't appear from his past few to be far off a bottom. Nuclear Power came up onepaced after being tight for room between runners at the 250m.
