Debutant Dancing Fighter held off Eptiwins for the win after surging to the front 200m out following a prominent run as the favourite. He'll clearly come on for this run. Eptiwins closed nicely after switching to the centre of the track at the 200m following a patient ride third from the back. Fabulous Eight peaked on his move from better than midfield at the 100m. He's produced two positive runs and is still learning. Voyage Star stayed on reasonably well following a midfield run in an encouraging debut but will likely need more time and a longer trip. Travel Datuk plodded chasing the speed in the centre of the track. The 1,000m was too sharp for him. Newcomer Dor Dor made up plenty of ground late after showing no early speed. He needed this run and clearly requires a longer trip. Multimillion didn't find much when headed for the lead after finding the front on the stands side draw. The big weight took its toll on this occasion.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (297) - LEE ON HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters

ROMAN ODYSSEY began only fairly.

GALLANT LEGACY was slow to begin and then was hampered when steadied away from the heels of VOYAGE STAR which shifted out abruptly.

EPTIWINS and DANCING FIGHTER bumped at the start.

EPTIWINS then shifted out and inconvenienced DOR DOR.

GOUTEN OF GARO stumbled badly on jumping.

Passing the 600 Metres, ROMAN ODYSSEY was shifted in away from the heels of GOUTEN OF GARO.

Near the 350 Metres, DOR DOR, which was racing greenly, became unbalanced.

Passing the 300 Metres, VOYAGE STAR shifted in away from the heels of LUNAR ZEPHYR, causing GALLANT LEGACY to be inconvenienced.

After the 300 Metres, LUNAR ZEPHYR got its head on the side and lay in.

Near the 150 Metres, LUNAR ZEPHYR was steadied away from the heels of EPTIWINS (M F Poon) which shifted out under pressure before being corrected.

M F Poon was reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than he did on this occasion.

A veterinary inspection of MULTIMILLION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

DANCING FIGHTER and EPTIWINS were sent for sampling.
