Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (287) - SATURN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
EVERBRAVE shifted out at the start and made contact with APPLAUSE.
From the outside barrier, CHAMPION SUPREME was shifted across behind runners soon after the start.
After travelling a short distance, LEISURED FEET shifted out and hampered SUNNY DRAGON and SHINING ON, both of which were then steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
EVERBRAVE lost its left front plate after the 1100 Metres.
EVERBRAVE raced wide and without cover until approaching the 500 Metres at which stage LEISURED FEET was then left racing wide and without cover.
Just prior to the 500 Metres, DOLLAR REWARD had to be steadied to avoid the heels of EVERBRAVE (K Teetan) which shifted in when not properly clear.
SUPER LEADER, which was following DOLLAR REWARD, was steadied away from the heels of that horse in consequence.
APPLAUSE, which was trailing SUPER LEADER, was also inconvenienced and obliged to shift wide.
K Teetan was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he provides sufficient clearance when shifting ground.
Over the final 50 Metres, DOLLAR REWARD raced tight inside SUPER LEADER which lay in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of EVERBRAVE and LEISURED FEET immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER LEADER, GALLANT RETURN and JOLLY BOUNTIFUL were sent for sampling.

Gallant Return just got up 60m out after taking full advantage of gate one in the boxseat for a first win at his ninth start. Jolly Bountiful just got up following a one-off run in midfield to blouse Dragon Dance for second. He's always a chance over the 1,200m at either track but is Class Four material. Dragon Dance kept on gamely for a placing despite being pestered and headed for the front approaching the final bend by Flying Monkey. He belongs in Class Four now. Favourite Super Leader fanned wide soon after straightening travelling one-off worse than midfield to just miss a placing. He's a winner waiting to happen in this grade. Dollar Reward still had his chance to get up for a placing despite losing a length when steadying off heels 600m out following a one-out, one-back. He's honest without winning. Flying Monkey couldn't keep the engines revving at top speed 150m out after assuming the lead pressing the pace entering the final bend.
