Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (218) - CAMERON HANDICAP - Class 4R - 1400Meters
STRAPPING BAUHINIA began only fairly and then shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of CASHIN MINISTER which shifted out.
SOCCER MASTER shifted out at the start and bumped VIRTUS STAR.
BELLA BABY and LE TERROIR bumped on jumping.
From wide barriers, VIRTUS STAR and LE TERROIR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 1350 Metres, HAINAN STAR was steadied away from the heels of PERFECT MATCH (Z Purton) which shifted in when not properly clear.
Z Purton was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
SOCCER MASTER travelled keenly in the early stages when being steadied to obtain a position with cover.
After the 1300 Metres, SHINEALOT momentarily raced tight inside SUREWIN.
For a considerable distance after the 1000 Metres, BELLA BABY proved very difficult to settle and got its head up when racing close to the heels of WAH MAY PRINCESS.
Passing the 600 Metres, VIRTUS STAR got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SHINEALOT.
After the race, G van Niekerk reported that STRAPPING BAUHINIA raced greenly throughout.
A veterinary inspection of STRAPPING BAUHINIA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

PERFECT MATCH and HAINAN STAR were sent for sampling.

Post-time favourite Perfect Match drew clear when popped the question 350m out after sharing the lead with Wah May Princess to his outside. He'll find it harder in Class Three but has won two of three starts. Early favourite Hainan Star stayed on well following a prominent run on the fence to finish a clear-cut second. He's made a good impression in his three starts and will be winning shortly. Shinealot ran on well near the inside after travelling one-off in midfield to easily take third. He's caught the eye in both starts and it's only a matter of time before he salutes. Let Terroir closed late one from the outside to fill a Quartet spot. He was suited by the rise in distance and likely wants an even further race. Cashin Minister came up one-paced last 100m after looming a brief chance of placing at the 200m following a midfield run. Wah May Princess faded last 100m after pressing forward from a tricky gate to tackle the leader without cover.
