Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (204) - CHEVALIER HEALTHCARE INVESTMENT HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
SMART ROCKET lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and lost ground.
DISTRICT EXPRESS began awkwardly.
MAJESTIC ENDEAVOUR shifted out at the start and bumped FRESH POWER which then shifted out further, causing PEARL CHAMPION to be crowded for room inside VICTORIOUS LEADER and to lose ground.
ENERGETIC CLASS shifted in abruptly at the start and hampered HAPPY FORCE.
AFTER ME and HIGH REV bumped on jumping.
After this, HIGH REV was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
AFTER ME was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages, however, was forced to travel wide and without cover throughout the race.
After the 900 Metres, TOM'S DRAGON was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 400 Metres, FRESH POWER had some difficulty obtaining clear running when held up behind NOBLE DE LOVE which shifted to the outside of CORDYCEPS to obtain clear running.
TOM'S DRAGON lost its right hind plate passing the 300 Metres.
Near the 75 Metres, PEARL CHAMPION was directed to the inside of HAPPY FORCE to continue improving.
NOBLE DE LOVE lay out under pressure in the Straight.
A veterinary inspection of HIGH REV immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
NOBLE DE LOVE, HAPPY FORCE and PEARL CHAMPION were sent for sampling.

Happy Force rolled to the lead from a wide gate and never looked back to ring up a maiden win at his fifth start. He's a progressive sort and can step up again following a penalty. Pearl Champion finished well near the inside travelling settling second from the rear to grab second 20m out. It was a terrific run on a track favouring those in front and he should be winning shortly. Early favourite Cordyceps battled on quite nicely after working hard to chase the leader one off at the 900m carrying top weight. He appears to need faster going. Fresh Power ran on steadily from midfield to fill a Quartet spot. He's only produced one bad run from four this term when returning lame last time out. Post-time favourite Noble De Love was given every chance following a box-seat run but came up one-paced final 150m in his return to racing. He needed the run. Plunged late Energetic Class made some ground after a deep run behind midfield from a wide gate.
