Recap by phillip woo

Green Luck dashed strongly near the inside to win going away 150m out after travelling fourth from the rear following a sluggish break. He had caught the eye in one of his opening two runs and the step up to a mile suited. Happy Dragon finished well down the outside after settling one off behind midfield to grab second close to home. No surprise to see him light the board after two luckless runs. Sleep Education stayed on well following a prominent run on the fence to just hold Nordic Warrior for a placing. Nordic Warrior got squeezed up when trying to improve on the fence at the 200m by the tiring Lucky Girl and should have finished closer following a patient ride third from the rear. He's still got more improvement to come. Nitro Express ran on well from the rear of the field after sitting back from a wide gate. He has been knocking on the door in recent runs. My Ally gave way inside the final 150m after finding the front from a wide gate 1,380m out.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (197) - QUEEN'S ROAD CENTRAL HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters

NORDIC WARRIOR shifted out at the start and bumped RACING LUCK.

MY ALLY was bumped by PHANTOM FALCON which shifted out abruptly at the start.

When being steadied to obtain cover soon after the start, GREEN LUCK was crowded for room between NITRO EXPRESS and MR SO AND SO which shifted out.

Despite being vigorously ridden for a considerable distance in the early stages, MULTIGOGO failed to muster speed and passing the winning post on the first occasion was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

This resulted in MULTIGOGO racing back in the field.

Approaching the 400 Metres, RACING LUCK was momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of PHANTOM FALCON.

Then when being directed out to obtain clear running rounding the Home Turn, RACING LUCK was shifted across the heels of MR SO AND SO.

When RACING LUCK was shifted out, it got its head on the side and shifted out further, resulting in ACCLAIMED LIGHT and HAPPY DRAGON being taken wider.

Approaching the 250 Metres, RACING LUCK shifted out under pressure, resulting in its rider having to correct the horse.

Passing the 250 Metres, NORDIC WARRIOR momentarily raced in restricted room inside LUCKY GIRL which got its head on the side and shifted in.

Throughout the race, MR SO AND SO travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.

A veterinary inspection of MR SO AND SO and ACCLAIMED LIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection of RACING LUCK immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Before being allowed to race again, RACING LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACING LUCK, GREEN LUCK and HAPPY DRAGON were sent for sampling.
