Recap by phillip woo

Shining On edged clear after hitting the front approaching the 200m following a prominent run on the fence to build on placings in two of three other runs this term. He might be open to a bit more improvement . Favourite Khaki finished well for second after copping a check when trying to go between runners following a midfield run at the 200m. He's come to hand this term and will be heading higher. Travel Datuk just held onto third following a one-off run in midfield from a tough gate. It was a vastly-improved second-up effort on the back of an injury-prone campaign but is still a non-winner. Waldorf finished well after settling third last from a wide gate to nearly place. He's been knocking on the door this campaign. Dollar Reward had every chance following a one-out, one-back run. He's limited. Smart Salute made some ground late from the back. He's looking well and needs to be kept safe when stepping up to a more suitable 1,650m.
