Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (139) - HEBE HILL HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1650Meters
WINNING FAITH was crowded for room on jumping between SUNNY WIN and KING GENKI, both of which shifted ground.
In this incident, SUNNY WIN became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by WINNING FAITH.
Shortly after the start, BEAUTY PRINCE shifted out and bumped GLORIOUS ARTIST.
From the outside barriers, BEAUTY SPIRIT and DR WIN WIN were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
For some distance after the 1200 Metres, BEAUTY PRINCE lay in of its own accord and became unbalanced after making contact with the running rail.
Passing the 300 Metres, PEOPLE'S KNIGHT was shifted out away from the heels of GLORIOUS ARTIST which shifted to the outside of KING GENKI to improve.
The performances of BEAUTY SPIRIT, DR WIN WIN and SUNNY WIN, all of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY SPIRIT, DR WIN WIN and SUNNY WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SUNNY WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CALCULATION and GLORIOUS ARTIST were sent for sampling.

On a leader's track, early favourite Calculation pinged the gates and never looked back to win easily. He's a freak over this surface. Glorious Artist really got going late travelling third from the rear to just overhaul Winning Faith for second as the race favourite. It was a solid run in defeat on a biased track and he remains one to follow over the mile and 1,800m on this surface. Winning Faith had to settle for third after making a steady bid following a rail run in midfield. This run opens up options beyond his happy hunting ground at the Valley. Beauty Prince came up one-paced over the final 150m following a box-seat run. He's honest but doesn't have much upside off his current mark. King Genki only plodded following a one-out, one-back run. This was too rich following a last-start win in a lower class.
