Racing Incident Report
Race One: (65) - KWOON CHUNG HZMB SERVICES HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters
As the start was being effected, TRIUMPHANT LIGHT (G van Niekerk) lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently missed the start.
In this incident, G van Niekerk instinctively reached out with his left hand to hold the stall partition.
LITTLE FANTASY began awkwardly and then, despite being hard ridden in the early stages, failed to muster speed.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, TRIUMPHAL WIN was steadied away from the heels of THE LEGEND (K Teetan) which shifted in when not properly clear.
K Teetan was reminded of his obligation to provide sufficient clearance.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, COME ON WONGCHOY was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 700 Metres, MONEY WINNER shifted out to improve its position, however, raced wide and without cover for the remainder of the race.
KWAICHUNG BROTHERS was held up for clear running from near the 250 Metres until after passing the 100 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of JOLLY AMBER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LE PEGASE and MANAGEMENT STAR were sent for sampling.

Favourite Le Pegase just scraped in after cornering three lengths on top enjoying a soft run in front. Rookie trainer Jimmy Ting Koon-ho's found the key to him for back-to-back wins. Management Star jumped out of his skin to come from near last to nearly cause an upset. He was suited by the class drop with a return to the turf . Triumphal Win stayed on well for a placing after travelling fore of midfield one off the fence. He's turned the corner with two positive runs this term. The Legend only held his ground chasing the leader one off the fence. He can produce an odd good run at times. Specked late Little Fantasy was doing some nice work late after travelling third from the rear. He's near a bottom. Jolly Amber came up flat following a dream run. He needed the outing in his first start in over 130 days. Kwaichung Brothers couldn't gain a run until the last 100m following a midfield run on the fence.
