Recap by phillip woo
Goko quickened nicely on the far left after showing no pace one from the back to win going away 60m out for a third win from five starts over the straight 1,000m despite a rise in class. He remains one to follow over this trip. Firming favourite Golden Dash found one too good after poking his head in front approaching the 100m in the middle of the track. It was a solid effort despite a rise in class. Turf Sprint plugged away for third following a handy run on the far side. It wasn't a bad run but the big weight's proving a tough hurdle to clear. Nice Fandango was on his tippy toes 100m out after easily crossing to lead on the stands side from a low draw. He needed the run but his gate speed remains an asset going forward. Midnight Rattler kept on okay travelling midfield. He didn't beat much but is well rated and likes a longer trip.
