Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (746) - SHA TIN HEIGHTS HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
When proceeding to the barriers, C Schofield was dislodged from RAICHU without incident.
RAICHU then proceeded for a short distance before being recaptured.
LOOKING GOOD began awkwardly.
FULL OF CHANCES and RAICHU were crowded for room on jumping between JIN JIN KING and EMPIRE STAR which, after being bumped on the hindquarters by FULL OF CHANCES, became unbalanced and shifted in further.
From wide barriers, AVELLINO, LUCKY BLESSINGS and MUTUAL JOY were all steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, JIN JIN KING got its head on the side and lay in despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in LOOKING GOOD being momentarily crowded for room.
Approaching the 200 Metres, POSITIVELY HIGH shifted in and made contact with FULL OF CHANCES.
Throughout the race, EXPRESS STAR travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of EMPIRE STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ENJOY LIFE and HINYUEN SWIFTNESS were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Enjoy Life held off Hinyuen Swiftness after getting the split between rivals at the 300m to lead 120m out from behind midfield for a second victory this term. He's ultra-consistent and seems to go very well under Zac Purton but this wasn't a strong Class Four test. Hinyuen Swiftness closed nicely three from the right travelling midfield to finish a clear-cut second. He keeps hinting a win is near. Young Empire grudgingly gave way after getting his own time in front. He's well rated off an earlier win this term but is more effective over the Valley 1,200m. Inexperienced Looking Good stayed on all right following a prominent run on the fence. He wasn't quite ready to tackle the 1,400m. Positively High ran on steadily after a deep run behind midfield from a wide gate. He's in the right grade but needs to draw better. Empire Star plodded after settling closer than usual effectively one-out, one-back. He's more effective ridden for luck.
