Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (737) - THE HONG KONG RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION CUP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
TAKING AIM began awkwardly, shifted out and in doing so bumped the hindquarters of GENEROUS HEART, causing both horses to become unbalanced and TAKING AIM to lose ground.
RAGING BLITZKRIEG blundered on jumping, shifted in and bumped GOLDIE FLANKER, causing RAGING BLITZKRIEG to lose ground.
PAKISTAN BABY began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped MASSIVE POCKET which in turn shifted out and inconvenienced CALIFORNIA ARCHER.
At the 500 Metres, PAKISTAN BABY was taken wider by GENEROUS HEART which shifted out.
Throughout the race, JOYFUL MOMENTS travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, Z Purton stated that THE JUDGE did not appear to be comfortable on the All Weather surface today as the horse's action was awkward throughout the race, particularly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection of THE JUDGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
RAGING BLITZKRIEG, JOYFUL MOMENTS and CALIFORNIA ARCHER were sent for sampling.

Joyful Moments kept up a strong gallop after surging to the front 300m out following a handy run without cover the entire trip. He had been knocking on the door in his past two starts so a victory was not a surprise. California Archer kept on gamely after stalking the leader Massive Pocket from a wide gate. He's given a good sight for seconds once on each surface in his past two of four starts. Taking Aim closed well travelling midfield to edge favourite Raging Blitzkrieg for a placing. He's naturally coming into his own. Raging Blitzkrieg stayed on all right following a deep run with cover in midfield but failed to live up to expectations following two dirt trial wins. Generous Heart rallied late down the outside to finish just out of the placings. He can pop up at times but doesn't have much upside off his current mark. Gameplayer Emperor produced a grinding effort travelling fore of midfield on the fence. On his pedigree, the 1,400m or even a mile will suit him.
