Recap by phillip woo
Raging favourite Super Chic won going away 150m out when popped the question soon after straightening following a comfortable run one off in fourth. He's really come into his own to win twice over this trip from his past three starts and looks ready to step up off a light weight in Class Two. McQueen gave a cheeky sight to hold second by a neck. His form had picked up of late and he does like wet going. Sangria got going settling last to fill the final place position. He's been very honest but might be better suited on faster ground. Good Days kept grinding away following a box-seat run to just finish out of the placings. It wasn't a bad run in defeat. Goldfield gave way inside the final 150m after having to work a bit to settle outside the leader from an awkward gate. He's making some progress. Willie Way move at the 600m was short lived.
