Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (652) - THE ST GEORGE'S CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1000Meters
GENERAL IRON began awkwardly and then soon after the start was shifted across behind runners to obtain a position closer to the rail.
On jumping, MONEY BOY was crowded for room between DRAGON PIONEER and HEALTHY LUCK, both of which shifted ground.
SMART DECLARATION, which was fractious in the barriers when being assisted by a starting gate handler, began awkwardly and lost ground.
CEREFINO lost its right front plate after the 600 Metres.
Making the Home Turn, JOY MASTER made contact with the hindquarters of SLEEP EDUCATION which became unbalanced and shifted in, resulting in JOY MASTER being crowded for room.
Throughout the race, CEREFINO travelled wide and without cover.
DRAGON PIONEER and HEALTHY LUCK were sent for sampling.

Favourite Dragon Pioneer led from start to finish to easily open his win account at his ninth start. The win was overdue after showing progress in recent runs and he can ring up another. Plunged late Healthy Luck kept on gamely to finish a clear second after stalking the leader. He relished a good draw for a change. General Iron came on down the outside after settling third last to nail Money Boy on the wire. Veteran's pops up now and then. Money Boy had every chance following a one-out, one-back run. He's had a lot of racing and does appear from his past few to be on his mark. Smart Declaration produced a grinding effort to finish just out of the placings after travelling midfield following a slow start. He had an excuse. Cerefino kept on all right after a deep run without cover the entire trip travelling fore of midfield. Punted late Country Melody only plodded when asked for an effort travelling handy along the fence with a 10-pound claimer on top.
