Recap by phillip woo

Firming favourite Raging Storm shot clear at the 250m following a prominent run without cover to ring up a second win from four starts. Bulb Elite just out-finished Falcon Turbo down the outside after settling third from the rear to grab second 30m out. Falcon Turbo finished nicely after a deep run with cover beyond midfield to overhaul So Fast 20m out for third. He's acclimatising nicely on his four starts. So Fast had to settle for fourth in the end after chasing the speed one off. He's honest but has limited upside off his current mark. Lucky Hero produced only a grinding effort after travelling worse than midfield. Eagle came up one-paced when asked for an effort following a midfield run. He likely had a case of seconditis after catching the eye in his debut.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (630) - THE CHAN TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Meters

BORNTOACHIEVE shifted in at the start and bumped LUCKY HERO.

FALCON TURBO shifted in at the start and bumped the hindquarters of MR RIGHT.

After this, FALCON TURBO was shifted across behind runners.

Also from the outside barriers, SWEET LEADER and RACING FIGHTER were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

MIDNIGHT RATTLER was taken wide and without cover passing the 700 Metres by LUCKY HERO which improved to the outside of EAGLE.

BULB ELITE lost its right front plate at the 550 Metres.

After the 300 Metres, ROYAL MOJITO was shifted to the inside of LUCKY HERO after being disappointed for running between that horse and MIDNIGHT RATTLER.

Throughout the race, RAGING STORM travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, T Berry (RACING FIGHTER) reported that his mount, despite being ridden along, gave ground rounding the Home Turn and as the horse did not feel comfortable in its action when giving ground, he eased it down in the Straight.

A veterinary inspection of RACING FIGHTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of RACING FIGHTER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, RACING FIGHTER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

After the race, it was reported that an endoscopic examination conducted on SWEET LEADER showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea.

A veterinary inspection of MIDNIGHT RATTLER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

RAGING STORM and BULB ELITE were sent for sampling.
