Recap by phillip woo

Backed late Golden Dash drove forward to share the lead with Multimax at the 850m, edged clear at the 300m and kept on gamely for a second win from four starts. Favourite Destin came from midfield to grab second. He's racing well but do prefer him over a longer trip. Joint early favourite Shanghai Dragon couldn't gain a run until the last 100m travelling box seat. He's shown promise in his three starts and it's only a matter of time before he strikes. Multimax grudgingly gave way after dictating the run. It was one of his better efforts in a while and could possibly be near a bottom. Formula Galore ran on without menacing from midfield. My Winner finished off reasonably well after travelling third from the rear at only his second start. He's heading in the right direction. Stellar Feeling never got going travelling behind midfield with money coming for him late. He'll need more time and education.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (485) - CHANGI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Whilst in the saddling stalls, GOLDEN DASH had its right front plate refitted.

On arrival at the Start, GOLDEN DASH was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.

LAUGH OUT LOUD began only fairly.

ROCKET GO was slow to begin and then throughout the race was detached from the field.

The performance of ROCKET GO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, ROCKET GO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

MY WINNER was crowded for room on jumping between SHANGHAI DRAGON and STELLAR FEELING which got its head on the side and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.

STELLAR FEELING then hung out badly throughout the race and proved very difficult to ride.

A veterinary inspection of STELLAR FEELING immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.

The racing manners of STELLAR FEELING were considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, STELLAR FEELING will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Approaching and passing the 700 Metres, LEISURED FEET travelled keenly and was awkwardly placed behind GOLDEN DASH.

After the 700 Metres, SHANGHAI DRAGON travelled keenly when racing close to the heels of MULTIMAX.

Near the 650 Metres, LAUGH OUT LOUD got its head up and became unbalanced of its own accord.

Approaching the 500 Metres, LEISURED FEET shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of FATE FIRE which became unbalanced.

Approaching the 300 Metres, SHANGHAI DRAGON was held up for clear running.

Approaching the 150 Metres, MY WINNER was inconvenienced when disappointed for running between MULTIMAX and SHANGHAI DRAGON which shifted in.

MY WINNER then became awkwardly placed behind MULTIMAX near the 100 Metres before being shifted to the outside of that horse.

Throughout the race, FATE FIRE travelled wide and without cover.

N Rawiller (GOLDEN DASH) was warned against the practice of allowing his mounts to shift ground after the winning post which may result in other horses being hampered.

GOLDEN DASH and DESTIN were sent for sampling.
