Recap by phillip woo
Dundonnell kept on gamely for the win after surging to the front 150m out following a prominent run. Rookie trainer Frankie Lor Fu-chuen has done a great job to get him back to the top but it won't get any easier heading forward off a likely 112 mark or higher. Jolly Banner came on nicely travelling third from the rear to get within a neck of the winner. He's pretty honest and again went well fresh. Booming Delight finished well after settling midfield in the run to finish a close third. It was a good run over a trip short of his best. Well-fancied late, Simply Invincible ran on to finish a non-threatening fourth following a patient ride second from the rear. It was a better run but he's still finding things too rich at this level. Specked late Romantic Touch made some ground without looking a threat from the rear of the field. He needs at least a mile.
