Recap by phillip woo
D B Pin finished strongly after covering ground three deep third from the rear to overhaul odds-on favourite Mr Stunning 50m out for an overdue win after a heart-breaking defeat in the HK Sprint. He's a top-flight sprinter. Mr Stunning surged to the lead 150m out following a one-out, one-back run and had to settle for a dead-heat second with stablemate Beat The Clock in the end. He's having a brilliant campaign and lost nothing in defeat. Beat The Clock finished nicely after trailing the field to finish level for second and give the stable a Group One sweep despite giving the winner 17 points. He's got a bright future. Lucky Year stayed on well following a midfield run. He's a quality sprinter but just below the top few. Blizzard was swamped 100m out after taking the lead from Peniaphobia at the 300m following a pace-stalking role. He's better ridden quietly. Lucky Bubbles failed to lift following a patient ride second from the rear.
