Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (361) - CARPENTER HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
From wide barriers, KEY WITNESS, GREEN CARD and DANCES WITH DRAGON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Also MR GENUINE was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the 1000 Metres, TEAM FORTUNE got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WONDERFUL JOURNEY after being shifted in across behind that horse.
Throughout the race, DRAGON GENERAL travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of DANCES WITH DRAGON and LUCKY WAN FENG immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DANCES WITH DRAGON, VERBINSKY and KEY WITNESS were sent for sampling.

Verbinsky just got from midfield in a tight photo finish to edge the fast-finishing Key Witness for a win at third start following a stable change to land a betting move. Key Witness came from last to make it a thriller on the wire. He seems to go well for Dylan Mo Hin-tung who won on him two back over this same trip. Pablosky was swamped in the shadows of the post after jumping alertly to lead from gate three. He's always a pace factor over the 1,200m on either surface. Mr Genuine came on nicely three from the right after settling behind midfield to just miss a placing. He has been ultra-consistent without winning in his eight starts this term but has been effective sprinting on either surface or course. Momentum Lucky wasn't beaten far but did get the run of the race on the back of the speed. He's not quite good enough at this level. Team Fortune wasn't too far away following a prominent run. He's a winning chance on his preferred dirt surface.
