Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (292) - THE GRIFFIN TROPHY - Class R - 1400Meters
On arrival at the Parade Ring, the tongue tie applied to LUCKY MASTER was replaced.
SMART CHARADE and FANTASTIC SHOW were slow to begin.
AMAZING SATCHMO (N Callan) raced keenly approaching the 1100 Metres when being steadied and shifted in momentarily, resulting in TELECOM MAN and FANTASTIC SHOW being crowded for room.
N Callan was advised to exercise more care.
Following the race, K C Leung reported that when placed under pressure in the Straight GALLANT RETURN shortened stride and did not stretch out properly.
A veterinary inspection of GALLANT RETURN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Before being allowed to race again, GALLANT RETURN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

SPARKLING DRAGON, WIN BEAUTY WIN and ALCARI were sent for sampling.

Win Beauty Win asserted his authority to win going away 250m out chasing the leader one off for a second win from four starts. He's headed towards bigger and better things and will get a further trip as well. Alcari stayed on well following a prominent run to grab second in deep stretch. He's still learning but has plenty of talent himself. Favourite Sparkling Dragon grudgingly gave way after enjoying an easy time in front. He had his win streak stopped at two but was beaten in the end by a couple of smart ones and will be winning more races. Smart Charade rallied well after travelling midfield along the fence following a slow break. It was a good run on the back of a slow early pace and should be winning his fair share of races when fully finding his feet. Fantastic Show got going late to snatch some prize money after travelling second from the rear. It was his best run from three outings this term and he's clearly in need of a longer trip.
