Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (253) - BRAZIL HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1800Meters
Shortly after the start, LUCKY GIRL was bumped by SALTO OLIMPICO which shifted out.
After travelling a short distance, GOLDFIELD was steadied when crowded for room between RICKFIELD and FRIENDS OF KA YING, both of which shifted ground.
From wide barriers, ROCKETEER and PIKACHU were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Passing the 1600 Metres, SALTO OLIMPICO raced tight inside MARVEL HERO which shifted in after being bumped by DINOZZO (J Moreira).
J Moreira was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
Near the 1500 Metres, FRIENDS OF KA YING shifted in and bumped RICKFIELD.
Passing the 150 Metres, A Badel (RICKFIELD) dropped his whip.
For a short distance after passing the 150 Metres, LUCKY GIRL was awkwardly placed inside the heels of DINOZZO.
Close to the finishing line, THUNDER STOMP raced tight between MARVEL HERO and DINOZZO, both of which shifted ground.
Throughout the race, FRIENDS OF KA YING travelled wide and without cover.
LUCKY GIRL, THE GOLDEN AGE and DINOZZO were sent for sampling.

Omission from Racing Incidents Report of 3 December 2017 Sha Tin Racemeeting - Race 8 (242) In the early part of the Straight, IMPERIAL CONCORDE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SPICY KAKA which shifted out.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 3 December 2017 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of SKY TREASURE, ACTUARIAT, SUN TOUCH, UGLY WARRIOR, HEARTS KEEPER, SPARKLING DRAGON, WIN BEAUTY WIN, FURIOUS PEGASUS, WINNINGLI, FLYING GODSPELL, BOND ELEGANCE, TURIN PEARL, KYRUS BOWSER, HOT KING PRAWN, TURF SPRINT, FIVE STARS AGENT, ROMAN IMPERO, QUICK RETURN, FABULOUS ONE, FIGHT HERO, HOUSE OF FUN, ALCARI, DIAMOND DRAGON and CALCULATION revealed no apparent abnormality.

Punted late The Golden Age was nicely rated on the lead after clearing from a wide gate and kept up a strong gallop to make it back-to-back wins. He's finally living up to expectations as a group winner in France and can win another in the grade. Early favourite Dinozzo came on well following a prominent run to make it close on the wire. He's yet to run a bad race in four 1,800m appearances at both tracks this term and remains one to follow. Marvel Hero surged late near the inside following a handy run to just miss second. He remains a key player over this course if he remains in the grade. Thunder Stomp grudgingly gave way chasing the leader. The 1,800m was a bit too far but back over the mile he'll be hard to keep out of the finish off a light weight. Rickfield got going late after a deep run travelling fifth from the rear. Post-time favourite Lucky Girl didn't let down following a one-off run behind midfield. He's more effective at a mile.
