Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (225) - CHEVALIER PROPERTY INVESTMENT HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1600Meters
SUCH A HAPPINESS, which was fractious in the barriers, bumped the outside of its stall on jumping and consequently began awkwardly and lost ground.
TAI SMART and PING HAI STAR bumped on jumping.
WINWIN RUBY shifted in at the start and hampered AGREE and RAZOR QUEST.
CALIFORNIA JOY shifted out at the start and bumped MORETHANLUCKY which became unbalanced.
CLUB LIFE shifted out at the start and hampered GENERAL DINO.
For a considerable distance after the 1500 Metres, PING HAI STAR got its head up when proving very difficult to settle.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, MORETHANLUCKY was inconvenienced by AGREE which was taken in by WINWIN RUBY which was then directed out abruptly to relieve the tightening.
Passing the 700 Metres, PING HAI STAR again got its head up when awkwardly placed behind MORETHANLUCKY.
Near the 500 Metres, GENERAL DINO, which for the majority of the race travelled wide and without cover, was bumped and taken wider by MORETHANLUCKY which shifted out to obtain clear running.
TAI SMART, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence.
When MORETHANLUCKY shifted out near the 500 Metres, PING HAI STAR momentarily improved to be racing inside the heels of that horse, however, a short distance later was steadied due to BRING IT ON, which was racing slightly in advance of PING HAI STAR, shifting out around the heels of CALIFORNIA JOY which also shifted ground at this stage.
CLUB LIFE had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
PING HAI STAR was unable to obtain clear running until after the 300 Metres.
Passing the 200 Metres, CLUB LIFE was bumped by WINWIN RUBY which, when giving ground, was momentarily awkwardly placed inside CALIFORNIA JOY which shifted to the inside of AGREE to obtain clear running.
Over the concluding stages, PING HAI STAR shifted out under pressure.
MORETHANLUCKY and PING HAI STAR were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Morethanlucky held off Ping Hai Star after working to the lead 200m out following a midfield run to ring up a third win from four starts for his new trainer this term. Ping Hai Star finished well when only gaining a run 200m out following a patient ride beyond midfield. He's caught the eye in both outings and will be saluting shortly. Bring It On closed off well near the inside to fill a placing after travelling third from the rear. He pops up now and then and likely may need a dip into Class Four to open his win account. California Joy ran on steadily behind midfield along the fence to finish a nonthreatening fourth. He's gone close in four of five outings this term but likely needs to drop lower in the handicaps. Agree kept on all right after settling one-out, one-back from a wide gate. He'll need to wait for a dip back into Class Four for another win. Razor Quest got going late from the back without menacing. He needs a stronger rider.
