Mythical Emperor got his own way in front after jumping well from gate one and never looked back to win with something in hand. He's turned the corner in his two starts this term and might be able to rise in higher. Favourite Fantastic Eight took the sit one off in second and kept on gamely to just hold second. He's yet to miss the Quinella spot in seven runs and remains a key player when next stepping out. Winning Faith got going late following a midfield run to make it close for second. He's found his running shoes this term and appears from this run to need 1,400m. Winston's Lad got going late from near the back to finish a distant fourth. He isn't far off a winning run. Hair Trigger ran on late without menacing after settling third from the back from a wide gate to follow up on two solid runs over the straight 1,000m. There appears to be another win in him. Bulb Elite stayed on better travelling behind midfield on the fence.

Racing Incident Report

Race Eight: (98) - TSUEN FU HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

As the start was effected, LUCKY GUY became fractious and lifted its front feet off the ground, resulting in the horse losing a considerable amount of ground.

Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY GUY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.

POWER OF PATCH was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, WINNING FAITH and SUPERPOWER were crowded for room between SILLY BUDDIES and GLORIOUS PARTNERS which, despite the efforts of its rider, got its head on the side and shifted away from MYTHICAL EMPEROR which shifted out.

BULB ELITE was steadied shortly after the start when crowded for room between IRON BOY and FANTASTIC EIGHT, both of which shifted ground.

From wide barriers, WINSTON'S LAD and HAIR TRIGGER were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Throughout the race, JADE THEATRE travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that POWER OF PATCH had bled from both nostrils.

A veterinary inspection of JADE THEATRE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MYTHICAL EMPEROR and FANTASTIC EIGHT were sent for sampling.
