Recap by phillip woo
Sharp Sailor came from last rounding the final bend to just overhaul King Of Mongolia for the win. He's effective over the 1,800m to 2,200m over this course and should remain competitive in this class. King Of Mongolia closed off well after travelling one off worse than midfield to make it a thriller on the wire despite a return to Class Three. He's improved since joining the Richard Gibson camp late last season and should be scoring shortly over the 1,650m or 1,800m. Go Go Win reclaimed the front 150m out after leading early on from a wide gate and wouldn't go down without a fight. He's a tough cookie to run down over the mile and 1,800m. Renaissance Art couldn't sustain his run over the last 150m after sweeping to the front 700m out with a move from the back. He's well rated on three past wins and can pop up at any time. Favourite Ho Ho Feel didn't fire following a prominent run. He's more effective when ridden quieter in the run.
