Premiere led and never looked back off a light weight for a fourth win from 13 starts. He's a tough cookie to run down over the 1,000m at both tracks. Archippus closed off nicely down the centre of the course after a midfield run to just take second despite carrying top weight. He's as honest as the day is long and goes well on both surface and tracks. Country Melody closed off nicely after a midfield run near the stands side to make it tight for second. He franked the form from a good opening run at the Valley and isn't far off a bottom. Happy Meteor stayed on surprisingly well following a handy run. He bobs up from time to time but is more effective on the dirt. Plunged late, Flying Tourbillon made some ground down the far side after travelling third from the rear. He's better suited at the Valley. Adventurer couldn't lift after sharing the lead. He's likely on or near his mark. Mega Red made some ground late after travelling fourth from the rear.

Race Seven: (43) - THE CHINESE RECREATION CLUB CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 2 - 1000Meters

FLYING TOURBILLON, which was restless in the barriers, was slow to begin.

MY LITTLE FRIEND was crowded for room on jumping between ADVENTURER and PREMIERE which shifted in after beginning awkwardly.

DUKEDOM lifted its feet as the start was effected and began only fairly.

After the 300 Metres, PABLOSKY was awkwardly placed outside the heels of COUNTRY MELODY.

PREMIERE and ARCHIPPUS were sent for sampling.
