Recap by phillip woo
Starlight saluted as expected following a prominent run after putting the writing on the wall last Wednesday. He should be able to hold his own up in class off a lighter weight over this Valley trip. Smart Boy closed off reasonably well following a handy run to finish a clear second. He'll certainly come on for this run and should be saluting shortly. Never Better ran on well after a sluggish break to fill a placing. He's as honest as the day is long but does have trouble winning. Paddington only plodded following a box-seat run and might be ready to tackle a further trip this term. Noble De Boy was doing some decent work late down the outside after travelling deep without cover second from the rear. He isn't too far off a bottom.
