Recap by phillip woo
Time Warp made it three on the trot with a nicely rated run on the lead despite a return to Sha Tin. He's going to remain competitive no matter where he steps out next season over the mile to possibly 2,000m. Booming Delight came on nicely from near last to grab second 60m out. He was spotting the winner 21 pounds to cap off a terrific first campaign and should remain competitive at group level over a mile and 1,800m next season. Favourite Beat The Clock peaked on his run 100m out following a prominent trip in his first try at a mile. It wasn't a bad effort but he might find it tough running out a strong mile at this level of competition. Romantic Touch just wore down King Genki for fourth after settling box-seat after a tardy break. He's capable of a big run at this level but isn't reliable. King Genki grudgingly gave way after stalking the speed. He's clearly is more effective on the dirt.
