Firming to jump equal favourite, Time Warp was nicely rated on the lead after clearing to the front 1,300m out from a tricky gate and kept on nicely to make it back-to-back over this course. He's clearly a Valley specialist but arrived with good European form and may be able to head higher now that the penny's dropped. Co-favourite Big Bang Bong kept on well for second after stalking the speed but found one in a different class. He'll have his turn in the sun again after notching a fourth straight runner-up performance. Super Chic finished nicely three from the right after travelling third from the rear to fill a placing. He's starting to find his feet with back-to-back placings over this course from his six outings. Chater Legend closed off well from the rear of the field to inject some value into the Quartet. He's on his mark but rarely runs a bad run over this Valley trip. Mr Genuine was given every chance following a midfield run but didn't get the trip. He's clearly more effective over the 1,200m at this track. Inventor made some ground without menacing near the inside after travelling fourth from the rear but is clearly a better chance down in Class Three.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (767)-HOI HA HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1650Metres

On arrival at the Start, K Teetan expressed concern regarding the action of INVENTOR.

INVENTOR was examined by the Veterinary Officer who, after the necessary consultations, said the horse was suitable to race.

TIME WARP shifted in on jumping, resulting in SPEEDY LONGWAH and SERGEANT TITANIUM being hampered.

From the outside barriers, SUPER CHIC, PIKACHU and CHATER LEGEND were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Near the 450 Metres, PIKACHU and CHATER LEGEND raced tight.

PIKACHU was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and approaching the 200 Metres was checked out away from the heels of LET US WIN.

Passing the 100 Metres, SERGEANT TITANIUM raced tight between LET US WIN and CLASSIC EMPEROR which shifted out when giving ground.

Over the concluding stages, SERGEANT TITANIUM was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MR GENUINE.

For the majority of the race, SPEEDY LONGWAH travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of LITTLE DRAGON immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right hind leg.

Before being allowed to race again, LITTLE DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of CLASSIC EMPEROR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

TIME WARP and BIG BANG BONG were sent for sampling.
