Post-time favourite Seasons Bloom quickened brilliantly to win going away 100m out after getting into the open 250m out following a patient ride third from the rear. He was too classy and re-established himself as one of the top milers going forward. California Joy dashed to the front 300m out following a box-seat run but found one too smart on this occasion. He's an honest miler at either track and the claim's allowance did help on this occasion. Early favourite Jolly Jolly stayed on well to just hold third after punching the breeze the whole way outside Lucky Girl to place for a fifth straight time. He's a winner waiting to happen. Baba Mama finished strongly two from the right after a patient ride at the rear of the field from a wide gate to just miss a placing. He's near a bottom and will be hard to beat if he can get a drop into Class Three. Circuit Hassler rushed forward to sit third at the 950m and grudgingly gave way over the last 150m. It was a better effort with a drop in class and step back in distance. Keen Venture ran on late down the outside after travelling second from the rear. He needs a stronger tempo and faster surface.

Racing Incident Report

Race Nine: (741)-MOON KOON HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1600Metres

ALL YOU WISH was withdrawn on 17.6.17 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore).

Before being allowed to race again, ALL YOU WISH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

On arrival at the Start, the tongue tie applied to BABA MAMA was replaced.

From the outside barriers, KEEN VENTURE and BABA MAMA were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Passing the 700 Metres, CIRCUIT HASSLER and CALIFORNIA JOY bumped after racing tight.

Passing the 400 Metres, RODRICO was momentarily crowded for room between MAGICAL BEAUTY and KEEN VENTURE, both of which shifted ground.

Passing the 300 Metres, KEEN VENTURE raced tight outside BABA MAMA.

Throughout the race, CIRCUIT HASSLER travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of SERGEANT TITANIUM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.

SEASONS BLOOM and CALIFORNIA JOY were sent for sampling.
