Recap by phillip woo
Attractively weighted favourite Booming Delight came on nicely to take control 150m out following a patient ride third from the rear to notch a fourth win from nine starts this term. He's a Group Three winner waiting to happen over a mile or 1,800m. Eastern Express stuck on well but did have every chance in the box seat off a light weight. He needs an easier test. Circuit Land shot to the front 220m out after travelling four lengths off the leader in fourth and peaked on his run inside the final 100m. He's ultra consistent but was giving his rivals too much weight. Doyeni just failed to get up for a placing after settling at the rear following a bump at the start. He was badly off in the handicaps and needs a longer trip. Romantic Touch disappointed after getting his own way up front. He's not an easy one to get right. Specked late, Blocker Dee didn't get the trip.
