Firming favourite Lucky Dollar easily took control 200m out following a handy run near the far side to live up to a solid debut over the 1,200m. He'll remain in the grade and can score another. Money Boy moved into the clear 350m out after vying for the lead and kept on gamely to finish a clear second in his first run over the straight 1,000m after some solid 1,200m form. He's itching to add to an earlier win. Triumphant Jewel closed off well travelling worse than midfield three from the left to spice up the exotics. He's well rated on some past exploits. Sunshine Universe was up with the leaders on the stands side and only held his ground over the last 150m. He hasn't run all that badly in two of his four starts but will need to lift on his current form if he wants to salute the judge. Timely Arrived was stopping 100m out after vying for the lead. He's getting down to an attractive mark now and is one to keep safe if he can draw a proper gate sprinting at the Valley. Lucky Wan Fend stayed on all right from midfield. He needed the run following a break and is clearly better over a longer sprint.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (649)-THE LI CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1000Metres

TIMELY ARRIVED and FLYING MONKEY bumped at the start.

Shortly after the start, MEGA TREASURE shifted out and bumped GOLDEN KID.

After the 700 Metres, TIMELY ARRIVED was awkwardly placed inside the heels of FLYING MONKEY which shifted in marginally.

Near the 250 Metres, TIMELY ARRIVED got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure, resulting in FLYING MONKEY being inconvenienced.

Passing the 100 Metres, URBAN CHIC raced tight outside E-SUPER as that horse was weakening.

Passing the 50 Metres, THE JAZZ was shifted in away from the heels of LUCKY WAN FENG.

When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of E-SUPER, S Clipperton stated that his mount travelled comfortably until the 400 Metres, however, at this time immediately came under pressure and then, despite being hard ridden, failed to respond and weakened over the concluding stages.

A veterinary inspection of E-SUPER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
