Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (605)-THE KOREA RACING AUTHORITY TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Metres
As the start was effected, APACHE SPIRIT lifted its front feet off the ground and was slow to begin.From an outside barrier, GRACYDAD was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
APACHE SPIRIT made the turn after the 600 Metres awkwardly, shifted out and brushed BEAUTY KINGDOM.
Passing the 300 Metres, APACHE SPIRIT was shifted out across the heels of E-SUPER to continue improving.
Near the 250 Metres, E-SUPER was inconvenienced when momentarily crowded for room between HELLA HEDGE and PERPETUAL JOYANCE which shifted out.
Passing the 200 Metres, APACHE SPIRIT was then disappointed for running between OUR HERO and HELLA HEDGE which shifted out.
Over the final 100 Metres, HELLA HEDGE got its head on the side and lay in under pressure, resulting in APACHE SPIRIT racing tight inside that horse passing the 50 Metres.
Near the 50 Metres, GRACYDAD shifted out and bumped E-SUPER.
Throughout the race, HELLA HEDGE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of KING MORTAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WONDERFUL FIGHTER and PERPETUAL JOYANCE were sent for sampling.

Wonderful Fighter dashed to the front 200m out following a prominent run along the fence and held off the late surge of favourite Perpetual Joyance to notch a fourth win from nine runs over this Valley trip. He might have a few points more in hand over this particular course and distance. Perpetual Joyance was allowed to find his feet in midfield after jumping alertly, peeled out at the 300m and finished well to make it close. He lost nothing in defeat and remains a sprinter to follow. Our Hero came on well from just worse than midfield to finish a distant third. He's at his best over this Valley trip but has been finding it harder after a win in February. Apache Spirit finished well to get fourth after having to duck-and-weave about for a clear run in the drive following a patient ride fourth from the rear following a slow break. The blinkers helped and he can spring up soon. Beauty Kingdom made some ground out wide without menacing after a patient wide third from the rear from a tough gate. He's not a prolific winner but rarely is far off a pay cheque sprinting at either course. Gracydad was getting going late after settling at the tail from a wide gate. It was a pleasing effort with a return to Class Three but he needs a stronger pilot.
