Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (595)-CULTURAL LEGACY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Metres
WINFIELD began only fairly and then shortly after the start was bumped by SANGRIA which shifted in.JADE THEATRE and ROYAL MOJITO bumped on jumping.
JADE THEATRE was then steadied a short distance after the start when crowded for room between NO MONEY NO TALK and ROYAL MOJITO which shifted out.
As the start was effected, RED KYLIN lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently began only fairly.
Passing the 600 Metres, NO MONEY NO TALK raced in restricted room between GALLANT ROCK and BEAUTY MASTER.
When placed under pressure after the 500 Metres, WINFIELD got its head on the side and lay out.
WINFIELD continued to race ungenerously and then over the concluding stages hung out and proved difficult to ride.
Over the final 400 Metres, ROYAL MOJITO, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, raced greenly and shifted ground on a number of occasions.
Passing the 150 Metres, NO MONEY NO TALK shifted out, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten.
NO MONEY NO TALK continued to hang out for the remainder of the race and prove difficult to ride.
After the race, J Moreira stated that he was unable to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of BEAUTY MASTER.
He said the horse travelled well in the early and middle stages, however, did not close off the race after being placed under pressure near the 400 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that WINFIELD had sustained a superficial abrasion on the nose.
FORTUNE BO BO and RED KYLIN were sent for sampling.

Post-time favourite Fortune Bo Bo led narrowly on the stands side and drew clear for an overdue win after seconds in three of seven other runs over this course and distance. He didn't beat much but clearly does like this Sha Tin trip. Red Kylin came on well from around midfield near the outside to grab second 120m out in a pleasing first run following a long break. He'll come on for this run and might get away with a race over this trip shortly. Jade Theatre rattled home late after switching into the open at the 200m near the far side following a patient ride fourth from the rear to snatch a placing at a price. It was clearly his best run in four starts but may still need a bit more time and experience to reach his full potential. No Money No Talk moved to second 150m out after being tight for room at the 400m to 300m following a midfield run but peaked on his run 100m out. He's not a prolific winner but it was a positive performance first-up this season following a host of health issues. It was another run on without menacing performance by Winfield in his first try over the straight 1,000m. He needs further relief in the ratings and a longer trip. Early favourite Beauty Master faded after jumping well to chase the speed. He can't carry weight.
