Punted late Noble De Love got up in the final few metres after travelling fore of midfield three deep with cover in a hood to open his win account at start seven. He had produced an odd good run at times and this wasn't an overly strong test. Doctors Delight finished well after travelling well behind the eventual winner to make it close. He's caught the eye in his past two of three starts and will be scoring shortly. C P Power was caught without cover outside the leaders from the outset and only collared in the final few strides after sweeping to the front 250m out. He's shown versatility from 1,000m to 1,600m and a win is around the corner. Raging favourite Ambitious Heart only plodded over the final 100m after travelling effectively one-out, one-back. He's honest but lacks the will to win. Love Chunghwa came on late from the back without menacing. It was the same as usual for him. Cool Brothers was twice held up and never properly tested when trying to wind up following a midfield run. Keep an eye on him when he next steps out. Destin was off his game after getting roughed up 350m out following a box-seat run.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (538)-PORT SHELTER HANDICAP (Sec1) - Class 4 - 1400Metres

M REBORN shifted out at the start and bumped TORNEY.

EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE began awkwardly and bumped with DOCTORS DELIGHT on jumping.

LOVE CHUNGHWA and WIN FOR CHARITY bumped at the start.

After this, both WIN FOR CHARITY and LOVE CHUNGHWA were shifted across behind runners together with PROUD SKY from a wide barrier.

Passing the 1100 Metres, FURLONG DRAGON shifted in when travelling keenly and bumped M REBORN.

Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, REAL DEAL got its head on the side, lay out and was reluctant to shift over to race near the rail.

Passing the 500 Metres, AMBITIOUS HEART was awkwardly placed close to the heels of C P POWER.

Passing the 400 Metres, DESTIN (K Teetan) shifted out to improve into tight running between EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE and AMBITIOUS HEART which was racing tight to the inside of NOBLE DE LOVE.

In this incident, DESTIN bumped the hindquarters of AMBITIOUS HEART.

K Teetan was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.

A short distance after this, DESTIN raced tight between EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE and AMBITIOUS HEART, both of which shifted minimal ground.

Near the 100 Metres, COOL BROTHERS was eased when racing in restricted room between TORNEY and LOVE CHUNGHWA which lay in under pressure.

Throughout the race, C P POWER travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of DESTIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

AMBITIOUS HEART, NOBLE DE LOVE and DOCTORS DELIGHT were sent for sampling.
