Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (487)-DENDROBIUM HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Metres
The start was delayed as BOTH LUCKY had lost its right front plate behind the barriers.After being replated, BOTH LUCKY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
Also behind the barriers, it was noted that KING MORTAR had blood in its mouth emanating from a cut.
KING MORTAR was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed fit to start.
FORTUNE BO BO shifted out at the start and bumped KING MORTAR.
DIAMOND LEGEND was crowded for room on jumping between CALIFORNIA ASPAR and GALLANT ROCK which initially shifted out and then was taken out marginally by BRAVO WATCHMAN.
COLOURFUL ACHIEVER stumbled shortly after the start.
BOTH LUCKY lost its right front plate near the 700 Metres.
Passing the 600 Metres, CALIFORNIA ASPAR momentarily raced in restricted room between BOTH LUCKY and TRIUMPHANT JEWEL which, after initially being taken out by DRAGON MASTER, got its head on the side and shifted out further away from that horse.
Approaching and passing the 400 Metres, FORTUNE BO BO got its head on the side and lay out.
After this, FORTUNE BO BO continued to lay out and near the 150 Metres was bumped by GALLANT ROCK which was taken in by ACE KING.
FORTUNE BO BO then continued to lay out over the concluding stages.
BRAVO WATCHMAN and ACE KING were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Bravo Watchman rushed to the front 250m out following prominent run and just held off Ace King to remain unbeaten in two outings despite a rise in class. He's only a three-year-old and has the tools to head higher. Ace King just failed to get up after jumping better to sit handy in the run. He looks like he can add to three earlier wins over this trip this season but has a bad tendency of missing the kick. Both Lucky finished nicely after travelling behind midfield on the stands side to fill a placing. It was a good effort after getting re-shoed before the start. He's near a bottom in the handicaps and a sprint win isn't far away at either track up to 1,200m. Fish N' Chips lost a placing late after stalking the leader travelling on the grandstand side. Prefer him in Class Four with the claimer on board sprinting on either surface. Fortune Bo Bo grudgingly gave way after travelling up with the leaders from a bad gate. He has been racing well without winning over this trip but needs a better draw. California Aspar made some ground after travelling fourth from the rear in an improved second-up performance. He can make his mark at 1,400m and under when coming to hand.
