Arm Runda darted to the front 150m out following a one-out, one-back run and held off High Volatility for a second straight win. He's finally gotten the hang of things and might be able to hold his own in Class Three over this course off a lightweight. High Volatility was eating up the ground late after travelling third from the rear to make it close. He won't be far off another win over the 1,200m at either course if he remains in the class. Hot Hot Pepper gave a cheeky sight after setting a genuine pace. He doesn't know how to run a bad race but keeps finding one or a few too good. Favourite Contribution made a steady bid near the inside after travelling behind midfield. He's got some ability but likely needs more time and experience. Unleased Dragon made some ground without menacing from midfield. Prefer him in Class Five up to 1,400m. Top-weighted Cour Valant was making up heaps of ground late after spotting them too much of a head start following a slow break. He had excuses this time after placing in four of seven other runs this term but still needs the handicapper to prove him with some relief if he were to win.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (477)-JAFFE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres

COUR VALANT began very awkwardly and blundered shortly after the start, consequently losing ground.

CONTRIBUTION began only fairly.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages, UNLEASHED DRAGON was slow to muster speed.

LEOWL was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

Making the turn approaching the 1000 Metres, CONTRIBUTION was awkwardly placed close to the heels of UNLEASHED DRAGON after getting its head on the side and shifting in away from HIGH VOLATILITY.

After racing very wide, SIGHT SEEING was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover passing the 1000 Metres.

Near the 250 Metres, LEOWL was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SKY TREASURE after being disappointed for running inside that horse.

Passing the 200 Metres, LEOWL was then shifted to the outside of SKY TREASURE to obtain clear running.

Throughout the race, FOREVER ACCURATE travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of SIGHT SEEING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

CONTRIBUTION, ARM RUNDA and HIGH VOLATILITY were sent for sampling.
