Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (453)-CITI INSURANCE SERVICES HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1600Metres
After being loaded into the barriers, BULLISH GLORY reared on a number of occasions and as the start was effected again reared, resulting in the horse losing a considerable amount of ground.Before being allowed to race again, BULLISH GLORY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
DEE DEE D??OR shifted in at the start and bumped SANTA FE SUN.
A short distance after the start, SANTA FE SUN and GOLD MOUNT were crowded for room between DEE DEE D??OR and PEOPLE??S KNIGHT which shifted out.
For some distance approaching and passing the 1400 Metres, BERLINI proved very difficult to settle and got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CALIFORNIA DISEGNO.
Making the turn near the 900 Metres, BERLINI was awkwardly placed close to the heels of INVINCIBLE DRAGON.
Passing the 300 Metres and again near the 200 Metres, CALIFORNIA DISEGNO raced tight inside INVINCIBLE DRAGON (J Moreira).
Then near the 100 Metres, CALIFORNIA DISEGNO was shifted out across the heels of INVINCIBLE DRAGON which shifted in marginally.
J Moreira was advise to exercise more care.
Near the 250 Metres, GOLD MOUNT was shifted in away from the heels of BABA MAMA to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, SOLAR HEI HEI travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of PEOPLE??S KNIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GOLD MOUNT, INVINCIBLE DRAGON and BABA MAMA were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Happy Valley Racemeeting on 22 February 2017 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of SMART SALUTE, ATOMIC BLAST, SPINNING DANCER, TRENDY WIN, G-ONE LOVER, GAME OF FUN, CONTRIBUTION, SUPER CLAN, GO GO WIN, D B PIN, CHARITY JOY, PAKISTAN BABY, NEVER BETTER, MONEY BOY, BLAZE STAMINA, VICTORY MARVEL, THUNDER STOMP and CHEERFUL BOY revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of OCEAN ROAR, BEAUTY CONNECTION, PO CHING TREASURE, MEGATRON, GRAND HARBOUR, MAGICAL BEAUTY, UNICORN, SPICY SURE, GRACYDAD, HEALTHY LUCK, LOVE SHOCK, HELLA HEDGE, FLYING TOURBILLON, BLOCKER DEE, SEA JADE, BASIC TRILOGY, PACKING DRAGON, CIRCUIT LAND, EASY HEDGE, RICKFIELD and SHARP SAILOR (15.2.17) proved negative.

Gold Mount straightened four deep after travelling behind midfield, ducked to the fence at the 200m and closed off strongly to take control 50m out in a thrilling debut performance over a distance short of his best. He's got loads of talent and will only come on for this run. Invincible Dragon found one too good after dashing to draw level for the front 150m out after travelling worse than midfield with a step up to a mile. He conceded too much weight to the winner. Baba Mama stayed on well following a surprisingly prominent run to finish level for the Quinella spot. He's always going to be a chance off a lightweight over the 1,400m or 1,600m at this level. Lucky Girl was swamped late for a placing after setting the pace in a return to form with the tongue-tie off at his second run following a stable change. His natural speed is always going to be an asset. California Disegno kept grinding away following a one-off run around midfield.
