Racing Incident Report
Race One: (400)-BOWRINGTON HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Metres
DANEWIN EXPRESS began awkwardly and lost ground.ALWAYS WONGCHOY was crowded for room on jumping between MY BLESSING and DOUBLE POINT which shifted in.
From a wide barrier, YOURTHEWONFORME was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, MASTER PINNACLE and DASHING FORTUNE raced tight inside DOUBLE POINT which shifted in.
For some distance approaching the winning post on the first occasion, RISING POWER got its head up when proving difficult to settle.
DASHING FORTUNE travelled and without cover until near the 900 Metres at which point DOUBLE POINT was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 500 Metres, DANEWIN EXPRESS was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLDEN PARTNERS.
Near the 275 Metres, DANEWIN EXPRESS was directed out away from the heels of DASHING FORTUNE to obtain clear running.
Approaching the 200 Metres, DOUBLE POINT shifted out and brushed YOURTHEWONFORME.
Over the final 200 Metres, YOURTHEWONFORME got its head on the side and lay in under pressure and over the concluding stages shifted in abruptly.
A veterinary inspection of DOUBLE POINT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MY BLESSING and BLISS CARTEL were sent for sampling.

My Blessing settled in the box-seat after jumping alertly and responded well in the straight drive to take control 150m out for a maiden win at his 11th start as the late-fancied favourite. He had put the writing on the wall in two of his past three starts so a big run was no surprise and should remain competitive when next stepping out. Bliss Cartel was hustled to lead from at the 1,320m from a wide gate and found one better yet again for a third straight run. He shouldn't be far off a win. Danewin Express closed off well after switching into the open 250m out following a rails run beyond midfield to get up for a placing. He has been running consistently without winning at both tracks but is nearing a bottom. Rising Power came from near the rear to snatch fourth on the wire from early favourite Golden Partners. He's clearly at his best over this Valley trip but may need to drop a few more points. Golden Partners produced only a grinding effort following a rails run in midfield. He's not genuine. Yourthewonforme got going late down the outside from near the rear of the field. Dropping in the handicaps with each defeat and on the back of earlier placings off higher marks, he can pop up at any time.
