Lucky Wan Feng peeled into the open with one wider out following rails run in midfield and finished nicely to get up 130m out for a second-up win after excuses in his debut when getting galloped on. He's got more upside to come and should get 1,400m as well. Super Sixteen closed off strongly along the fence after travelling behind midfield to make it close on the wire. It was another terrific performance following a debut win in Class Four and he has more to come. Happy Agility ran home well to finish a distant third after covering ground three deep beyond midfield. He continues to run well in defeat from bad gates and will be hard to beat when drawing near the inside. Momentum Lucky was yielding ground 100m out to just miss a placing after getting pestered for the lead off a big weight. He might take some catching under a claimer's allowance.

Race Ten: (380)-GOOD FORTUNE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Metres

CROWN AVENUE was slow to begin.

CITY WINNER began only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of HAPPY AGILITY which shifted out.

After this, CITY WINNER and ROYAL PERFORMER, from wide barriers, were shifted across behind runners.

RUN FORREST began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of LUCKY WAN FENG which then became unbalanced and shifted out.

After the 900 Metres, SUPER SIXTEEN got its head up when reluctant to maintain its position inside LUCKY WAN FENG.

FUN MACHINE was held up for clear running approaching and passing the 300 Metres.

Approaching the 100 Metres, SMART BOY was steadied away from the heels of BURST AWAY (G Mosse) which shifted out under pressure.

G Mosse was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground in similar circumstances.

Throughout the race, IRON BOY travelled wide and without cover.

MOMENTUM LUCKY, LUCKY WAN FENG and SUPER SIXTEEN were sent for sampling.
