Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (213)-CHEVALIER COLD STORAGE AND LOGISTICS HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1400Metres
FANTASTICLIFE began only fairly and then lost ground shortly after the start when crowded for room between GAINFULJET and EVERYONE'S CHOICE which shifted in.AMAZING ALWAYS and BERNARD'S CHOICE bumped at the start.
From wide barriers, MAGIC STAR, TREASURE AND GOLD and LUCKY PLACE were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
At the entrance to the Straight, DYNAMIC VOYAGE was bumped by NO LAUGHING MATTER which was taken out by EVERYONE'S CHOICE.
WINGOLD was held up for clear running until passing the 300 Metres.
After the 300 Metres, AMAZING ALWAYS had some difficulty obtaining clear running..
Passing the 150 Metres, Apprentice H T Mo (FREE NOVEMBER) dropped his whip.
Near the 125 Metres, BERNARD'S CHOICE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FREE NOVEMBER.
Approaching the 100 Metres, NO LAUGHING MATTER lay in and bumped EVERYONE'S CHOICE.
Throughout the race, KING WINSA travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, it was noted that WINGOLD had sustained a cut to the outside of the right hind heel.
FANTASTICLIFE, KING WINSA and WINGOLD were sent for sampling.

King Winsa came on strongly down the outside after travelling three deep near the rear to take control 60m out for a first win at his ninth start. The move to a tongue-tie has brought about the turnaround in two solid runs this term and he can head higher. Wingold was held up until the 280m after travelling fifth from the rear and should have made it closer with a clear run. He's come right with seconds in his past two starts and will be winning shortly. Favourite Fantasticlife couldn't muster speed early on but eventually got going between runners two off the fence to fill a placing. The rise in weight following a last-start win appeared to anchor him. Treasure And Gold finished nicely five deep after travelling underneath Wingold in the run to make it close for the placings.
